Brunvoll has its own industrial museum located at the Årø production plant. The facility contains a display of old tools, photographs of Molde after the WWII devastation and during its reconstruction, and also a photographic history of the factory.
There are several old semi-diesel engines displayed, including a small one-cylinder built by Engstrup, the previous factory on the downtown site. The Engstrup engine is much like the one which inspired Nils Finnøy a century ago.
Another one is the 1943 semi-diesel on which former Technical Director Oddmunn Brunvoll gained his qualifications as an engineer. The museum’s centrepiece is a steel stage holding four fully restored and operational semi-diesel engines.
The museum is open for public visitors with appointments.
