Carnival Corporation acquired control of Costa in 2000. Today, Costa offers voyages in the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the Caribbean, the Indian Ocean, the Middle East, South East Asia and South America. Costa’s Spirit class vessels – “Costa Mediterranea” and “Costa Atlantica”.

Costa Atlantica is a Spirit -class cruise ship owned and operated by Costa Crociere. She was built in 2000 by the Kvaerner Masa-Yards Helsinki New Shipyard in Helsinki, Finland. Atlantica generally divides her time between Caribbean cruises in the winter months and Europe based cruises during the summer months.
